Cost with Insurance Plans

We accept many private insurance plans and will arrange out-of-network benefits if available. Our expert  and experienced team will help you get the procedure approved (if possible per your plan) at no administrative or extra cost for you. 

Cost with Cash.

For those patients who want to pay cash for the procedure, a discounted all inclusive package rate is available that includes surgeon and assistant fees, hospital and anesthesia charges. All fees must be paid before surgery. Financing options are available; please call our office for more information. There are potential significant tax benefits for medical expenses. LAP-BAND system surgery all-inclusive (for cash only)

• Plan A (Recommended): $10,900 covering surgery and one year of follow up including as many office visits and fills as needed.
• Plan B: $9,900 covering surgery and 3 fills

LAP-BAND removal

• $3,500 covering surgery and hospital cost for a day surgery.

Gastric Bypass surgery all-inclusive (for cash only)

• $18,400 covering surgery, hospital costs for up to 3 hospital nights, and office visits for the first year.

Gastric Sleeve surgery all-inclusive (for cash only)

• $14,400 covering surgery and hospital costs for up to 2 hospital nights and office visits for the first year.

• Fees do not include pre-operative office visits or pre-op testing.
• Fees do not include certain payments in the uncommon event of complication. Consult our office about Dr. Spivak's pro-patient approach in such a situation.
